What You Will Do

1. Escalating IT issues to the IT Manager where necessary
2.  Responsible for managing backups and restoration
3.  Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
4.  Providing desktop and server support
5.  Installing authorized software in laptops and desktops
6.  Ensuring security and upgrades are applied to desktops and laptops and kept up to date
7.  Antivirus installation for all desktops and laptops
8.  Fault finding in laptops and desktops
9.  Making of Cat 5 e network cables where necessary
10.  Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with HR requirements
11.  Providing support to MAC PCs
12.  Support engineers are responsible for the post-deployment support of custom solutions, provide second-line support to customers, as well as technical assistance to remote implementation teams working on customer engagements

What you required

• Minimum 0-1 years of experience in technical support related to enterprise hardware and software
•  Installing windows / Unix flavor OS and configuring various application software like MS Office / MS Outlook for mail and       internet access
•  Installation of Network devices and troubleshooting of these devices
•  Good knowledge/awareness of LAN and other network fundamentals and designs
•  Minimum Bachelor’s Degree qualification is required
•  Ability to communicate with end users
•  Excellent oral and written communication skills and analytical skills
